Order of the Arrow Elections

Is your troop looking to become involved in the Order of the Arrow? The Order of the Arrow is Scouting's honor society, which recognizes those Scouts who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law. Chattahoochee Lodge 204 is the local OA lodge for our council. Annual Health and Medical Record

Are you going to summer camp? Cub Day Camp? attending an Adult Training weekend?

District Award of Merit

The District Award of Merit was presented at the Saugahatchee District Banquet on March 7, 2013. Pictured are the recipients for this year, Jonathan Middleton (left) and Rob Stanford (center), along with District Chairman Joel Moore.

Middleton has served the District over the past several years as the chairman of the Camping Committee and has coordinated several successful District Camporees. He also serves as the Council Camping Chairman. This summer, he will serve as the leader of the Council's contingent to the 2013 National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. At the unit level, Middleton is the scoutmaster of Troop 371.

Stanford is the activities chairman for the District where he coordinates programs such as the District's highly successful presence at Auburn CityFest. He previously served as the Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner and Pinewood Derby coordinator. He serves as both the Cubmaster of Pack 29 and the Committee Chairman of Troop 50.

Congratulations to both recipients and thanks for jobs well done!
